Guess what's going on here at NNC, this fine June day? Well, let me tell you. :) There's an old
dorm here that should have been condemned years ago, but until my freshman year (1997-1998) was
still holding freshmen boys. Now, this dorm was dillapitated then, think of how it would be with
at least a hundred freshmen boys who knew it was going to be demolished soon, and had free run
to the place. I've heard so many stories, like how one guy's closet became the place where you
just spat on the inside wall any time you went past (ick, that's pretty gross! But these were
freshmen boys...), or how they peeled the walls off the hallways because they were in such
bad shape. Those who live there look back on their time there with nostalgia.
Well, as I said, it was condemned my freshman year, and this year (my sophomore year), they gave
it to the fire department to run drills with. Personally, I think that it was just a cheap way
for NNC to get it demolished, but hey, it was fun to watch. Sadly, contrary to what I'd heard
there weren't too many cute firemen; most were kinda old, actually. Still, very fun. :)
Took my calculus test today; think I did okay. (Kind of hurrying now, I've got choir in four
minutes) Saw the guy I had a crush on in the commencement services at chapel; he was really
being a doll, playing with the tassle, looking all chipper and active. I've decided I'm not
crushed on him anymore, but if he were to ask me out, I'd definitely say yes (unless it's out of
pity, where I draw the line; a girl has to have SOME pride!). But he's leaving, so it's not like
we could ever get together anyway.
I'm making my move to my summer home today, as
well as finishing three chemistry papers and a PowerPoint chemistry presentation. *UGH*
Whoops, gotta go! Gonna be late to choir. Caio folks! :)
