Okay, yesterday I told you about my ferbie Tumoh. Well, can I just add that it was one of
my stupider investments? According to a friend I have a "rare" one, and can sell it to a
collector for good money. It kind of makes me wonder what kind of person collects these
flatuating, burping, vulgar little gremlins?
Let me enlighten you about the latest toy craze. We have a little toy that looks like Mogwai
from the movie Gremlins (I think the furby company got sued because of that). It dances, it
sings, it flatuates, it spits raspberries, and it's loud. I like the little toy, but I think
it's also getting my allergies up; when I have to pet it I begin to sneeze. You can't teach
it new words like I thought you could; I wanted to teach mine some choice phrases, but no, it
can only say what it's been programmed to say. False advertising!!
The fun sure wore off of this little guy fast! I've had him for about, oh, three days and I'm
already sick of him. There goes $30 down the tube. Perhaps I can put him up for auction on eBay
and get some money out of him. He's not exactly new in box (which apparently is how they sell
big for), but perhaps I can get my money back. He's an annoying little bugger, that's for sure.
*sigh* But, he is cute...
Well, I'm wanting to introduce anyone who's reading this (yeah right) to some favorite pages
I've found over the years, so today it's Quietsiren's
Lair. Back when I was in my dragon phase, this was the best page I had found that uses
dragons as its theme. If you like dragons too, I'd direct you to my own old dragon page,
Realm of the Dragon Queen, but let me
warn you it's been years since I kept that one up. Quietsiren has since diversified immensely,
adding web tutorials, graphics, etc, to her page, making it one that I still visit often.
